Management

Ushakov Alexei Ivanovich - Director General of DATA+, Ltd.
In 1978 Alexei Ushakov graduated from the Geography Faculty of the Moscow State University with specialization "Physical geography (glaciologist, cryolithologist). Up till 1992 he worked as a research scientist in the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences studying engineering-physical properties of snow and ice. In this period he participated in numerous expeditions to regions with extreme natural conditions. Simultaneously he was the Secretary of the Glaciological Section of the Interdepartmental Geophysical Committee. In 1988 graduated from the evening department of the Mechanical-Mathematical Faculty of the Moscow State University with specialization "Applied mathematics".
Since 1992 Alexei Ushakov is the leading expert of DATA+, Ltd. and since 1996 - its Director General.

Orlov Andrei Vladislavovich - Executive Director of DATA+, Ltd.
In 1978 Andrei Orlov graduated from the Geography Faculty of the Moscow State University with specialization "Physical geography (glaciologist, cryolithologist). In 1982 defended Ph. D. thesis and was awarded the degree of a candidate of geographic sciences. He is the author of 5 monographs and over 100 articles on the problems of geography of Polar and high-mountain regions. He participated in and was the head of expeditions to the glaciers of Spits Bergen, Severnaya Zemlya, Caucasus, Tien Shan, Pamirs, and Tibet. Up till 1996 Andrei Orlov was the the head of a laboratory of the Institute of Geography of the Russian Academy of Sciences, since 1996 - Executive Director of DATA+, Ltd.
He is also Editor-in-Chief of the Journal "ARCREVIEW. Modern geoinformation technologies".

International Department - works with foreign software vendors and customers, organization of the visits of partners from abroad as well as overseas business trips of DATA+ staff and users.

Sales Department - works with DATA+ clients, preparation of contracts and invoices.

Marketing Department- advertising for the Company, its products and services; technical support; arranging participation of DATA+ in exhibitions, conferences, and seminars; organization of the conferences and seminars of DATA+ .

Project Department - implementation of cartographic and GIS projects, consultations.

Technical Department - administering of the local system, support and upgrading of the hardware/software base of the Company.

Training-Methodological and Production Center "GeoSPro" - implementation of projects on the processing of remote sensing data and training-methodological support of the LHS products.
